Harry Watts was born in Winchester in 1987 and studied at the University of Brighton Faculty of Arts between 2006 and 2009, graduating in Editorial Photography BA(Hons).
In the same year, he was selected by Italian Vogue for a solo exhibition at the Salvatore Ferragamo flagship store in London which then toured to Madrid the following year. He has since exhibited across the UK and internationally.
Watts has been involved in a number of professional projects including working with international artists and organisations such as Photoworks, Brighton Photo Biennial, Platon, John Angerson, David Moore, Clare Strand, Simon Roberts and is currently assisting and Martin Parr and fellow Brighton Alumni Ewen Spencer.
Watts’ STUDIO project, created while still an undergraduate at Brighton, has been published in print and online magazines such as SEESAW, Hotshoe, Photoworks and The Telegraph.
The FINDS project was published by Black Box Press in 2010 for the Brighton Photo Fringe Festival in an edition of 5,000 newspapers.
Watts is currently raising the funds, via IndieGoGo, to publish the 2nd edition of FINDS which will feature in the 2012, Brighton Photo Fringe.
