Brighton Solicitors Burt Brill and Cardens have been the major sponsor of the faculty's graduate show for the past 14 years. The Brighton branch of Burt Brill & Cardens is the Sussex solicitors' head office. Burt Brill & Cardens Solicitors have been working out of the same offices in Brighton since they were founded in 1897. They are one of Brighton's oldest law firms, and had the city's first commercial telephone, number 'Brighton 1', they are a major force in new media law.
