Design and the Creative Industries Conference: Working Together with Universities

Design and the Creative Industries Conference, 26 March 2010
On 26 March, a one-day working conference was held at the University of Brighton for the Design and the Creative Industries. The day offered opportunities for industry professionals, academics, students and policy makers to meet and discuss how best to develop practical ways to build sustainable partnerships and collaborations for mutual economic, social and cultural benefit.
The presentations, contributions and discussions were recorded during the day and have been captured and produced as a summary report (download below). This will be developed and published to advise the government on the opportunities and current barriers for partnership and how these might be overcome.
