Dr Lesley Whitworth is an invited speaker at ‘Bright Modernity: Colour, Commerce, and Consumption in Global Perspective’ being organised at the German Historical Institute, Washington DC, by Drs Regina Lee Blaszczyk and Uwe Spiekermann.  The event runs over three days in June, and brings together an international, inter-disciplinary group of scholars working on aspects of colour management.  Whitworth will speak on the Design Council’s engagement with the British Colour Council in the 1960s and 70s.
