Evaluation

Evaluation

The evaluation of the Creative Campus Initiative (CCI) is being led by the Faculty of Arts at the University of Brighton. Critically, student engagement lies at the heart of a participatory approach, offering creative and developmental added value to the aims and ambitions that underpin the CCI.

A sample of CCI funded projects within their collaborative contexts will be assessed by selected student volunteers, providing them with valuable professional development opportunities. They will work alongside the research team as co-researchers to ensure their experience of the CCI is developmental in nature.  In addition, two questionnaires will seek to analyse the impact of the programme amongst four constituencies: students, academics, practitioners and members of the public. Interviews will also be conducted with members of the CCI steering panel and will address issues of collaboration, widening participation, and the wider legacy of this first phase of the CCI.
