Other Stories: Queering the University Art Collection

Other Stories is a collection of new artworks works by Matt Smith (University of Brighton), developed after exploring the Edward Carpenter papers held at the University of Leeds. The exhibition works with stories from the LGBT Brighton Ourstory Archive to see what light they shed on the ostensibly heteronormative art collection at the University of Leeds.

Matt Smith is also working on a project with the National Trust at three of its properties in south east England.
