Circus Street BN2 9QF
The Brighton Interior Architecture and Architecture Society presents an evening of talks as part of their interdisciplinary exhibition in the abandoned market space at Circus Street, adjacent to the Grand Parade campus (BN2 9QF). Speakers include architect Nicky Kirk and Spacemakers.
Nicholas Kirk Architects is a young practice that has built a reputation for innovative artistic work and architectural design with projects such as "Flow" - a floating building on the River Tyne that generates its own power using a tidal water wheel designed in collaboration with artists Ed Carter and The Owl Project as part of the “Artists Taking the Lead” programme set up by The Arts Council.
Spacemakers, a "utopian regeneration agency" based in Brighton, London and Stockholm, create projects, publications and interventions working with local authorities, architects, funders and private developers.
