In March of 2015 Brighton hosted the British Political Studies Association Conference. The PSA conference brings together scholars of politics from around the globe.
We were particularly pleased to welcome as keynote speakers Lisa Disch Professor of Politic Science and Women’s Studies from the University of Michigan; the Political Secretary of PODEMOS Íñigo Errejón Galván; and renowned Guardian cartoonist Steve Bell.
Panels were organised as part of the Theorising Transnational Politics project. Radical theorists Jodi Dean, Todd May, and Visiting CAPPE Professor Sam Chambers delivered papers as CAPPE members.
The conference was organised by colleagues from across Brighton University, and is coordinated by CAPPE members Andy Knott and Michael Neu.
The School of Humanities also hosted the first ever undergraduate conference in Political Studies immediately after the PSA conference.
