Malcolm Miles, Professor of Cultural Theory from Plymouth University and an expert on Public Art in relation to cultural geographies, spoke about the public art projects of Anthony Gormley. His title was 'Post-Monument or a last gasp of a liberal tradition? Anthony Gormley’s One and Other in Trafalgar Square.
All were welcome and the talk proved to be of particular interest to MA Fine Art, BA Sculpture and CFAP staff and students, postgraduate research students and associated staff in architecture and their students such as Andre Viljoen and the Sussex Sculpture PMSA group.
