The Screendance Network, founded in May 2009, holds a public symposium, to meet with the wider community of screendance practitioners, researchers, students and interested minds to advance current debates in the art form.
Session1: A Curatorial Perspective

Session 2: A Choreographic Perspective
Choreographer Siobhan Davies and Film-maker David Hinton discuss a new screen-based project.
Session 3: A Theoretical Perspective
Film-maker Miranda Pennell and Ann Cooper Albright (Screendance Network) explores a theoretical perspective as preview to the next issue of the International Journal of Screendance, Doug Rosenberg (Screendance network) advances a debate on genres.
The symposium concludes with an Open Space Debate between all delegates to facilitate a discussion on the state of the art ands a Plenary Session with the members of the Screendance Network.
