Anuschka Kutz has won a residency at Schloss Solitude, near Stuttgart, where approximately 65 residencies are awarded biannually to artists, architects, scholars and writers. The Akademie, founded at Solitude in 1990, operates in the intermediary space between private and public; where art is reflected upon and produced but where it also finds a connection to the public.
While there, Anushka will create architectural 'portraits' from the film archive that she and her collaborator, Andrea Benze, created during their last exhibition of their interactive domestic spaces, and complete the exploration of dwelling designs that evolve in response to potential inhabitants.
