The University of Brighton is invited to join IFFTI (International Federation of Fashion Technology Institutes)
IFFTI is a comprehensive and prestigious international organisation representing leading fashion higher education institutions in areas of design, technology and business. Member Institutions participate in International Annual Conferences and collaborate with each other in bilateral agreements and many professional development activities, setting the standard for fashion education throughout the world, and developing close relationships with the fashion related industries.
University of Brighton has been invited to become a member of this global network of institutions recognized as leaders in the advancement of education in design, technology and business for fashion and its related industries through international collaboration. The University of Brighton's MDes programme in Fashion with Business Studies shares IFFTI’s aims: to provide wider opportunities for global study and international work; to strengthen and foster relations with the global fashion and related industry; and to develop a greater understanding of the role and responsibility of the fashion and its related industries in the global economy and international community.
University of Brighton was represented at the 11th IFFTI Annual Conference at London College of Fashion in April 2009.
