TEXTPRINT knitwear winner Hollie Maloney, graduate of the Fashion and Textiles programme at the University of Brighton, has now secured a job at Jaeger.
Following her competition success, Hollie took her work to Indigo in Paris and then to Hong Kong. “Texprint is a wonderful opportunity for the industry to discover the stars of the future and, in these uncertain times, original textile design and creative thinking is what will make a business stand out from the crowd,” says Harold Tillman, Chairman of the British Fashion Council, Jaeger and Aquascutum.
Hollie has been very busy since her return. The experiences were positive experiences and helped her make some really valuable contacts. This, her first job, is as assistant to the knitwear designer at Jaeger. She'll mainly be working on womenswear but will also be helping out with the menswear. "It finally feels like all the hard work is starting to pay off!" Hollie tells her former course leader, Toni Hicks.
