Textiles with Business Studies graduate Mandy Sade has been offered a permanent position in the print design department at H&M.
Mandy's work was spotted by H&M when they visited the University of Brighton stand at the New Designers exhibition in June 2009. Mandy's portfolio stood out and she was subsequently invited to meet with the H&M team, resulting in this job offer.
For the first three months Mandy will be trained in London by H&M’s print designer. She will then move to Sweden to complete her training over the following six months and eventually be based permanently in Sweden. The print designer and recruiter at H&M are extremely impressed with Mandy's work.
Mandy said: “I am delighted to have been offered this position and feel really lucky to be trained by such a well known company. I am really excited about the opportunity I’ve been given.”
