CHArt is a society open to all who have an interest in the application of computers to the study of art and design.
More on CHArtThe Designers Accord is a coalition of designers, educators, researchers, engineers, business consultants, and corporations. It is a not-for-profit organisation that is directed by a seven member Advisory Board. The Designers Accord envisions a creative community where the principles of sustainable design are integrated into all practice and production. Their mission is to catalyze innovation throughout the creative community by collectively building intelligence around sustainability. They advocate inverting the traditional model of competition, and encourage pooling knowledge so that all may benefit and build on marketable and sustainable solutions. They believe this will create positive social and environmental impact.
Resource centre for those interested in the art and design of less traditionally studied cultures as well those interested in issues of globalisation, cultural diversity and difference. The site offers course materials for FE and HE, a database of visual, archival, library and on-line resources as well as links to useful organisations.
The original Inspire grouping of public, higher education and national libraries has now been extended to include further education libraries, health related libraries and a wide range of specialist libraries which together provide a hugely rich and varied source of information on every subject from Accountancy to Zoology.
