SpRoUt work collaboratively, developing interdisciplinary art projects. SpRoUt investigate their acknowledgment of the dialogues involved in the creative process and the spaces around and underneath sited work - be it the performance space or the art object. SpRoUt's collaborative practice has evolved through their collective experience as individual practitioners and through working together with a wide range of arts practitioners, institutions and public contexts. SpRoUt is currently a collective of four core members Laura Cull, Amy Cunningham, Hayley Skipper and Hannah Still.
SpRoUt's activities to date have led to a number of public projects, including: Talent on Route - a multi-site event presented to audiences along a route through South London on a 1950's Greenline bus; Space Between - a hoarding intervention, the first cultural project to take place on the new site of the Towner Art Gallery in Eastbourne, Under Construction: Staging the Future a collaborative project at SC Gallery, Zagreb, Croatia and “A SpRoUt manifesto (in the style of a relay race) – Part II”, Serpentine Gallery, London as part of Serpentine Gallery Manifesto Marathon, curated by Hans-Ulrich Obrist.
