Edited Collection, 2012, Scarecrow Press, co-editor and writer
The Dictionary will provide a comprehensive overview of essential feminist literatures as well as their social, political and economic contexts. Covering a range of key theories, approaches, perspectives, figures, debates and terminologies, it will offer students of literature a useful and illuminating pathway into a rich and diverse field of international literatures. Co-edited and written by Dr Kate Aughterson, Prof Gina Wisker and Dr Katy Shaw, the dictionary will draw upon the distinct research specialisms of its authors to provide a new and challenging critical introduction to a growing global and historical field of work.
The Dictionary will form part of Scarecrow Press’ series of Historical Dictionaries. Each aims to serve as an introduction to and an aid to studying the countries, movements and organisations under examination. Their style is accessible yet critical with a focus on both the undergraduate and postgraduate reader. The Dictionary of Feminist Literature will offer a valuable contribution to this existing series as well as providing a challenging and innovative addition to the extensive field of feminist writings in English and other languages.
