Mark Soye is a film-maker lecturing in broadcast media.
He has screened his work extensively in festivals in the UK and beyond with a number of successful industry awards.
With a postgraduate qualification in Electronic Imaging, and a degree in Interactive Arts, as well as experience working in postproduction, Mark Soye's work brings a pedigree to the teaching team that encompasses a varied range of disciplines useful to the student experience. He has screened his work extensively in festivals in the UK and beyond, including the British Short Film Festival (London), Kinofilm (Manchester), New Visions (Glasgow), Canterbury Film Festival and Film Laden (Germany). Soye's work has been awarded an RTS (Royal Television Society) award for Scotland with a nation nomination for the UK, and a nomination for a Levis award.
