Beginners and more experienced students are all welcome.

Beginners Bookbinding

Tue | 1800–2030

This is a flexible course involving both traditional and creative bookbinding skills. The student is introduced to materials, tools and skills which will allow them to progress on to any level of bookbinding.

The tutor will advise students on suitable projects.

Creative Bookbinding*

Wed | 1800–2030

Encourages students to create a more personal approach to their work through an interpretation of traditional methods or an exploration of non-traditional structures and materials. We will also develop the use of traditional materials, such as leather, in creating design bindings.

Intermediate and advanced level students are best suited to this course.

*Some previous experience required

Restoration and Repair *
