Undergraduate students studying BA(Hons) in Interior Architecture specifically explore the interpretation and transformation of existing buildings as hosts for architectural and spatial interventions and examine how these are affected by changing social and cultural practices. Our postgraduate degrees includes the well-established Interior Design MA and Architectural and Urban Studies MA.

These courses attract students from a wide range of subject areas. The Interior Design MA is designed to explore conceptual ideas and the means by which they are communicated, as well as the materiality of spatial languages and the development of precisely articulated spatial design proposals. The Architectural and Urban Studies MA is particularly intended for graduates with an undergraduate degree in an architectural or related field and who are interested in architectural and urban ideas, theories and design issues. During the first two taught semesters students study a series of European cities and generate ideas for their final project. This course emphasizes experimental architectural and urban design and has potential for career applications in a wide range of creative fields. Students who have successfully completed the PG Diploma in Architecture / Architectural Design at Brighton may undertake a further one semester Master Work that leads to the award of MA in Architecture.
