Short courses

Short courses in language, writing and creativity

Striving to provide high-quality education across a range of disciplines in the arts, the University of Brighton Faculty of Arts offers opportunities for courses outside its degree programmes, including the certificate courses in modern languages (UCML) and writing for creative and practical purposes.

Located in the heart of Brighton’s cultural quarter, our Grand Parade site provides a perfect location from which to explore a subject of interest, while the Falmer Campus offers scenic space at the foot of the South Downs.

The original Brighton School of Art was founded in 1859. Today the Faculty of Arts delivers nationally and internationally recognised courses in art, design, architecture, humanities and languages and is proud of our award winning graduates and staff.

We welcome your ideas on activities you would like the University of Brighton Faculty of Arts to provide. To contribute please use our feed into our development programme form.
