CCVA to Curate Canadian Sculpture Exhibition

Barry Barker (Principal Research Fellow in the Centre Contemporary Visual Arts) has been invited to curate an open air exhibition of British Sculpture for the city of Vancouver, Canada. The exhibition will include large scale works by some of Britains leading sculptors including Tony Cragg, Anthony Gormley, Richard Deacon and Anish Kapoor.
The exhibition which is scheduled to open this summer and continue through to the autumn will also include an international conference on Contemporary Sculpture. This exhibition is a collaboration with the University of Brighton, the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, the City of Vancouver Art Gallery, the University of British Columbia, and the Emily Carr Institute.
