Geraldine's primary interests are in Feminist Theory and Psychology, where she has contributed to the development of liberation psychology with particular application to women and to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered persons. Her publications include Gender and colonialism: A psychological analysis of oppression and liberation (Basingstoke: Macmillan/Palgrave 1999, revised edition 2009); she is currently co-editing a special issue of Feminism and Psychology with M. Brinton Lykes of Boston College on "Whither feminist-liberation psychology? Critical explorations of feminist and liberation psychologies for a globalizing world'.

Ger will be giving a talk in the Politics Philosophy Aesthetics open seminar series on Thursday 11th December at 6.30 pm in G7 Pavilion Parade. Her topic is: "Liberation and Postcolonial Psychologies". All welcome!
