Arts & Humanities Research Council Studentship Competition 2009
Eligibility
Student who have been accepted (or are already undertaking) one of the following awards may be eligible to apply for funding in the above competition
• Doctoral awards (3 yrs FT/ 5 yrs PT)
• Research Preparation Master’s (master’s course preparing the student for doctoral study or a career in research in the higher education sector)
• Professional Preparation Master’s (Master’s course preparing the student for a career in professional practice. Certain subjects not eligible see guide to student eligibility)

Selection process
The University of Brighton is entitled to submit up to and including 5 applications to the AHRC. An internal application process applies, and applications will therefore go through 3 selection stages: Faculty, University and AHRC. The Faculty of Arts and Architecture may submit up to and including 5 applications to the university. Further details are available in the AHRC SC workshop presentation notes.
Application process and timetable
All documents to be emailed to a.galliot@brighton.ac.uk with the heading ‘SC2009’ followed by the applicant’s last name (eg: SC2009 SMITH)
