Screendance symposium 2011

Friday 4 February 2011
Sallis Benney Theatre, Grand Parade, University of Brighton, BN2 0J, UK

The Screendance Network, founded in May 2009, held a public symposium to meet with the wider community of screendance practitioners, researchers, students and interested minds and to explore current debates and concerns. Members of the Screendance Network presented the conceptual framework of the recently launched International Journal of Screendance. A small number of papers were given to fuel the debates and a guest from the field of curating and publishing contributed to the discussions.
