An exhibition at Brighton Museum and Art Gallery features new work by Andrzej Jackowski and Tom Hammick.

A large scale exhibition of new work by Faculty of Arts staff members, professor Andrzej Jackowski and senior lecturer, Tom Hammick entitled Dreams of here is taking place at the Brighton Museum and Art Gallery. The exhibition follows the course of a journey from a land of literal description to the buried landscapes of our subconscious worlds.
Jackowski attended Camberwell School of Art, Falmouth School of Art, and the Royal College of Art in London, leading to a fellowship at Surrey University. He has taught Fine Art Painting at the University of Brighton since 1987, whilst developing and sustaining a first order reputation as an exhibiting fine artist, both nationally and internationally.
Tom Hammick studied Art History at the University of Manchester before becoming a trainee Stonemason, working on Salisbury Cathedral. He then went on to study Fine Art at Camberwell School of Art in 1987 and has exhibited internationally with his work represented in several major museum collections. Hammick is showing a number of recent paintings and prints including a monumental new 3-part reduction woodcut Island Studio 2012.
