As part of your graduation package the Faculty of Arts has developed a simple yet effective profiling system, which allows you to create, upload and share a professional profile, which will be visible on our faculty website.
This professional profile is intended to help you to attract clients, job opportunities, funding and help with your career development. Unlike an external website, these profiles have a clear association with the University, providing added authenticity to your work and enabling you to be featured in priority listings in online searches.
If you are exhibiting these profiles will also be used to attract guests to your Graduate Show, helping to increase the chances of visitors exploring and engaging with you and your classmates work.
If you submit your profile by the March Deadline, see below, your work may also be selected for use in external publicity, and included on press releases sent to media such as The Guardian, Creative Boom, Creative Review and many more.
Deadlines explained:
March deadline: Monday 18 March (Exhibiting students only) For National Media exposure
Students who submit a completed profile by this date have the chance to be selected for external publicity, and have their work featured in our official Graduate Show 2013 press release. In the past students who have been given this opportunity have had further media interest from publications such as Wonderland, Creative Boom and Local TV/Radio coverage. This is a great opportunity to get yourself and your work as much free, high quality publicity as possible, and involves very little effort on your part. We strongly encourage all exhibiting students to aim for this deadline.
May Deadline: Friday 10 May - For local and online coverage
Students who submit a completed profile by this date should be included in online promotional activity, including links directly to the Graduate Shows area of the Faculty website. This is a great opportunity to get yourself and your work free publicity and involves very little effort on your part.
