Camilla Holder

Camilla Holder graduated from the BA (Hons) Painting course in 2010. She went on to do a MA in fine at the Slade. She draws extensively in the landscape and from collections of objects, and re-works these drawings in the studio. Through this process the images become more symbolic and metaphorical. She begins her paintings with these images in mind, but allows the painterly process to change and re-develop the structure and space within the painting. The paintings exist somewhere between an abstract and a real space, reaching into a separate interior space of their own.
