  • Nogueira designed this installation to complement a 1998 exhibiting of Portuguese architecture in the Economist Plaza, London. The Smithsons' modernists setting of 1964 dictated the elemental simplicity of this piece, which now has a more permanent but equally sympathetic context in Brighton.
