  • Howison graduated from 3-D Crafts course at the University of Brighton in 1997. In this Degree Show piece the relationship of each bottle to the group was as crucial as the surface or colour of each individual bottle.

Howison's 3-D Crafts course was structured to include Plastics as a second 'minor' material in addition to her 'major' study of Ceramics. This light-hearted piece arose out of her thesis. The Role of Gardens in People's lives.

Howison won the 'Best Body of Work prize in Burt Brill and Cardens' Student Awards. From a workshop in Farnham her ideas continue to evolve from early still-life preoccupations. She showed this piece at Chelsea Craft Fair.
