  • Hayley Zierold is a contemporary jewellery designer and artist who is inspired by the intricacy and transient state of nature. As an intensely observational designer she uses drawing and photography to record and develop ideas and processes. With her own cabinet of curiosities, a microscope, and a magnifying glass, her studio is often likened to that of a laboratory. The concept of jewellery and the values relating to it are vast, for Hayley designing jewellery has become an expressive language.

Hayley uses an eclectic range of materials in her practice. Her 1st Class BA (Hons) degree from Brighton University in 3D Materials Practice taught her skills in wood, metal, ceramics & plastics. Hayley specialised in metal and plastics with an emphasis on visual research.
