  • An experienced documentary photographer, Professor Mark Power exhibits his work internationally, is published in major magazines, and is a member of Magnum Photos. He graduated from Brighton in 1981 with 1st Class Honours in Visual Communication.

    Beginning with Christian Aid Photography Award, 1984, Power has been short- listed for or awarded several major photography prizes and bursaries in Britain and abroad.

    Power's exhibition Photographs of Asia and Australasia 1981-83 was shown in the Brighton Polytechnic in 1984.

    After 10 years building a considerable reputation as a freelance photographer Power joined the staff at Brighton in 1992, teaching part-time on the newly-established BA course in Editorial Photography.
