  • Blake was appointed UK 'Children's Laureate'. He is an RDI, senior Fellow of the RCA and an OBE,1988. He was external examiner for the first graduates in the Brighton MA in Narrative Illustration/Editorial Design and in 1992 was made a Fellow of the University of Brighton.
