  • Tanya Brett studied 3D Crafts at the University of Brighton, graduating in 1999. In the Graduate Show she received the Nagoya University of Arts' Student Award in recognition of outstanding artistic achievement and then went on to win First prize in the New Ashgate Gallery's exhibition of recent graduate work.

    When young, Tanya Brett lived near the Chelsea Pottery and made her first clay horse at the age of 5.

    Within ten years of her graduation, following a number of successful shows, Tanya Brett had been given prestigious commissions by restauranteur Marco Pierre White and by Lord Alistair McAlpine.
