The Design Archives has developed and contributed to web-based resources since the late 1990s. Major initiatives such as Designing Britain, accessible on the Visual Arts Data Service, along with around 3,000 images from the Design Council photographic library, paved the way for further work in producing and curating digital content. Some sets of images from the Design Archives are also accessible on our Flickr page, and descriptions and selected images via the Archives Portal Europe and the Archives Hub.

The projects listed below capture and share significant design historical sources created through research at Brighton. Some are not part of the Design Archives holdings directly, but relate to them in important and useful ways.
