Screen Archive South East's Home Front collection published on BFI Player

Screen Archive South East announces the publication of 38 newly digitised films of the Home Front during the Second World War on the British Film Institute's Player.
Supported by funding from the BFI's Unlocking Film Heritage Project.Highlights of this collection include 'West Sussex Home Guard' in colour, 'Start a Land Club' in 1942, 'Wellingtons and Spitfires on Active Service' featuring 501 Squadron with RAF fighter ace 'Bunny' Currant and 'Civilians in Uniform' a portrait of Civil Defence organisation in Leatherhead.
