CAPPE short course, September 2009
15 Aug 2013
"If language is not used correctly, then what is said is not what is meant; if what is said is not what is meant, then what ought to be done remains undone; if this remains undone, morals and art will be corrupted...[and]...justice will go astray..." (Confucius)
Doing philosophy is asking awkward questions; and asking awkward questions is something we all need to do. This intensive two-day taught short course is designed to introduce students to the practice of philosophical thinking.
The course is open to all and will run from 9.00am-5.00pm on Thursday 24 and Friday 25 September 2009.
The cost is £240 for those in full-time employment and £120 for others.
