Prize -winning photographer Edmund Clark visited the detainee camp at Guantanamo Bay and photographed both the site and the cells of the captives. He contrasted these with intimate photographs of the homes of ex-detainees. The project considers the psychological effects of these environments upon individuals and the explores the way physical spaces can tell complex stories about the relationships between the individual and the state.
