The Market

Establishing produce values, principles and narratives through the perspective of high street brands. 

The Market is an exhibition of work by Level Five 3D Design BA(Hons)/MDes students based on a project brief that looks directly at the notion of selling, keying into forecasting trends, high street buying philosophies and policies and brand promises. The intention of the brief is for students to establish their approach to fabrication, from hand-building to mass production, based on an identified set of retail and brand principles. The design aims were to respond to existing retail channels, thinking about real world situations in relation to market proposition, cost, method and time involved in fabrication and presentation skills when dealing with clients and buyers.
