Agnès Varda
Agnès Varda was recently awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award by the European Film Academy for her outstanding body of work. An outspoken feminist throughout her career, Varda, now 86, has created some of the most interesting female protagonists in 20th-century cinema.
Varda will create an installation in the University Gallery for the duration of Brighton Festival.
