Introducing 'Capital' a group show by second year students from BA(Hons) Fine Art Critical Practice, BA(Hons) Moving Image BA(Hons) and BA(Hons) Photography courses.
'Capital' is an exhibition that explores the influence of social and cultural context on art making. If none of this work is for sale could this then influence whether or not our work is viewed as economic capital? And, if it does, can this open up a space where work can exist free from monetary expectations, leading to work that is untainted and purer in meaning?
Private View: Friday 15 January, 5pm-8pm.
Exhibition opening times: Mon-Fri: 10am-5pm, Sat: 10am-4pm.
