The Rising Styles Battle Jam and Born to Rock bring you the awesome annual event that celebrates the physical elements of Hip Hop culture.
Hip Hoppers from all over the UK and Europe have been flocking to compete at The Battle Jam for the last ten years. The Battle Jam is as much for the purists as for those discovering Hip Hop for the first time, and this year's event is sure to be as hyped as the others.
At the wheels of steel will be DJ's Dek One, Prone, Credit One, Rob Life, Shelley Mack and a return to The Battle Jam by Just1, each and every one committed to providing beats that make the dancers move!
The battle categories are:
4 on 4 B-Boys and B-Girls
Popping solos
Locking solos (and pairs showcase)
Beatbox solos (and pairs showcase)
Funky Drummer Drum Battle
'Jack of all Trades' (competitors need to top rock, lock, pop and break in each set)
Also featuring on the day will be an Emcee showcase with live band and a Turntablist
DJ showcase battle.
