You are invited to a seminar to explore the theme of widening participation in the arts. Speakers will include current university students, alumni, academic tutors, teachers from our local partner schools and a representative from the National Society for Education in Art & Design.

6.10pm Keynote speaker, Alan Bolden – WP in the Arts
6.25pm WP students discuss their experiences and progression following participation in WP Fashion Clubs, Summer Schools, and Film Workshops
6.40pm Short film ‘What I Want to Be’ made by students at Longhill School
6.50pm Workshop 1: Digital envisaging: Aging on IPADS
Workshop 2: Facilitated group discussion exploring why art is important in education
