Share your thoughts – your city, your university…
What are universities for? And why do they matter?
Today, higher education features regularly in the national and international news, whether discussing fees and value for money, the numbers studying at university here and abroad or highlighting the latest research discoveries.
But what of the impact closer to home? And particularly how does (or should) a city like Brighton & Hove partner with an institution like the University of Brighton to nurture a vibrant, creative and successful environment where business, community and education can flourish?
Come along to ask your questions, have your say and learn more about the importance of city/university relations and how an engaged institution on your doorstep can make a difference to you and what you care about.
We are delighted that Question Time host and our honorary graduate, David Dimbleby, will be chairing the debate which will include questions from our audience. Our panellists include former University of Brighton students and local residents Candice Armah, Norman Cook, Ali Lapper MBE, Jo Neary and our own Vice-Chancellor, Professor Julian Crampton CBE.
Hospitality has been provided through the generous sponsorship of North Laine Breweries, backers of the #BrewedinBrighton campaign.
We look forward to welcoming you to what will be a lively and engaging event.
