A professional at just fifteen, but his untimely death at thirty-eight, Edward Brian 'Tubby' Hayes had left behind a body of work which has both stood the test of time and has proven to be an inspiration to many musicians today. The film features exclusive interviews with Sir Peter Blake, jazz poet Michael Horowitz, DJs Eddie Piller and Patrick Forge, broadcaster Robert Elms and drummer Spike Wells.
