Anna Best has developed a live art practise based on collaboration with other people and an investigation into the local. Recent projects with Tate Modern "The Wedding Project" 1998/9 and Beaconsfield "Visionhire" 1998 have been concerned with creating connections in an urban situation. She is based in London, currently working on a commission for the Bath Spa Project and City Projects and this year she will be lecturing part time at Birmingham Institute of Art and Design. "error 404" 1999/2000 is an Internet specific work commissioned by e-2 at www.c-ship.org and "The Festival of Lying" 2000, a collaboration with 3 other artists.
