Kazuko Hohki founded the Japanese female pop performance group 'Frank Chickens' in 1982 and has released 5 albums. She made a multimedia solo show 'Toothless' in 1998 supported by Arts Council of England and London Arts Board. Her new piece 'The Shining Princess' was shown in the British Festival of Visual Theatre 99. Kazuko Hohki was a founder member of Japanese American Toy Theatre of London whose 'James Bonk In Matt Blackfinger' was shown on Channel 4 in 1989/90. She also made a documentary feature for Channel 4 with Kim Longinotto about Japanese contemporary women in real life and has published three books in Japan on her life in London and a fourth book is due to be published in February.
