Alan Powers, A leading light of the 20th Century Society, will give a talk on significance of Embassy Court in the context of the work of Wells Coates. Alan Phillips, a local architect, will argue the case for conserving this unique Brighton building and will describe his own proposals for its refurbishment. Adam Trimmingham, a journalist with the Evening Argus, will put the case for demolition. (Free to Regency Society members, students and staff of the University of Brighton, £5 on the door otherwise)
