Roz Mortimer is a visual artist and filmmaker who lives and works in London. Initially working as a textile artist and sculptor, she began to make films in 1995. Her particular interest is an expanded form of documentary, and her work spans a wide range of media: from film to photography, sound, installation, performance and sculpture.
Her short films have been widely screened around the world and include "Dog of My Dreams" (2001); "Neverland" (2000); "Airshow" (1999) and "Bloodsports for Girls" (1995). She is currently working on "Gender Trouble" for the Wellcome Trust.
