Jerry Donahue is over from Los Angeles for two rare live appearances. One at the Mick Jagger Centre in Dartford, on Sunday November 24th, and the other at The Sallis Benney Theatre in Brighton, on Monday 25th November.

A perennial Guitar Player magazine Reader's Poll winner, Jerry Donahue has performed and recorded with some of the biggest names in popular music, Fairport Convention, Gerry Rafferty, Joan Armatrading, Chris Rea, The Proclaimers, John Illsley (Dire Straits), Johnny Hallyday, and Nancy Griffith;through notable performances and recordings with Robert Plant, Elton John, Gary Wright, George Harrison, Cliff Richard, Bruce Welch, Hank Marvin, Warren Zevon, Bonnie Raitt, and Roy Orbison, Jerry epitomizes the consummate "guitarist's guitarist."
Jerry will be performing with a four-piece band demonstrating his unique playing style moving from soulful economy, to blistering open string runs, to mind-boggling bends! This will be a fantastic evening with Jerry who adds "It will be great to meet old friends, and I am also looking forward to showing today's young players how adding a few tricks to their own style can create a unique, awesome sound all their own."
Augmenting his long career as a musician, composer and arranger, Jerry has received increased attention of late for his work as a producer. His latest work is joint production by the Hellecasters, a collaboration with the other guitar troika members John Jorgensen and Will Ray.
John Levett, the promoter, promises a very special "Evening with Jerry Donahue" & his friends Simon Van Downham on vocals & guitar, Peter Spencer on drums & Paul Geary on bass. Paul Malsom will be the pre-concert guitarist from 7pm, the headline band at 8pm.
